1000 miles away
As a travel photographer, I wish to present documentations of my adventures in my own style which has elements of fine art and street photography.
Going to Lithuania for my BA photography project “1000 miles away”, I wish to present striking, high contrast and honest images of my time there. My entire project is about Lithuania through the lens of a Scot. Whilst on my trip, I explored different cultural and natural sites. From scars in the landscape, to restored historical settlements, there was an abundance of interesting and beautiful locations and material. And crosses.
Somehow, I spend hours processing my photographs. You could say that I am an enthusiastic perfectionist.
In the duration of my project, I have focused on capturing the decisive moment whilst seeking aesthetical value. This project evolved massively from the beginning until the end product. Just like the photographer.
